La Villa de la Plage

The Villa de la Plage is a very beautiful villa in the village of Veyrier-du-Lac, between the eastern shore of Lake Annecy and the mountains. Elegant and spacious, the villa features beautiful spaces both indoors and outside, immediate proximity to the lake, great views, a large swimming pool, and a beautiful garden.

The Villa de la Plage is a magnificent Savoyard chalet recently renovated. Just a few steps from the lake and "Plage de la Brune" in Veyrier-du-Lac, it has a large swimming pool and beautiful outdoor spaces, including a gorgeous dining area shaded by the trees with views of the lake and a large outdoor grill for al fresco dining.

Ideal for holidays with family or friends, the villa has 5 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and is spread over 2 floors:

On the ground floor, the entrance leads into a bright hall setting the tone and character of the house: decorative touches in soft and warm colors (many items are made by the owner and artist, Lucie) give an elegant accent to the large spaces with the white walls of the house. Through glass doors, you will access the fully equipped modern kitchen and dining room, leading to the lounge areas. These rooms, on the lake side, open directly onto the outdoor terrace, garden, and swimming pool and onto the superb outdoor dining area, with lake views and sheltered from the heat at midday by trees—or to enjoy the beautiful summer evenings around the barbecue, this space alone will make your vacation memorable.

The living room is wrapped around a 3-sided fireplace: a first small living room, adjacent to the dining room, offers great conviviality to the living room and the children can play while the adults enjoy their meal, and on the other side, the generous lounge equipped with comfortable sofas and a TV area.

On the ground floor is also a beautiful double bedroom with an adjacent full bathroom.

On the first floor are 4 double bedrooms:

The master bedroom has a large double bed and its own large bathroom, and French doors opening onto two small balconies with a very beautiful view of the lake.

2 other double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 2 of which have a lake view, the third overlooking the garden and mountains, have plenty of storage space and share a beautiful family bathroom and 1 separate toilet.

All rooms, elegantly and simply decorated, are very bright and have electric curtains.

Outside, a large table under the shade of the trees makes it a real French experience! A large wood-fire grill/gazebo is available for your barbecues and aperitifs.

The pool overlooks the lake and sun loungers and an outdoor lounge are the perfect spot to lounge and relax.

For your entertainment, there is also:

-a ping pong table in the shade at the back of the house

-a pétanque game area

-a lovely vegetable garden for herbs and homegrown vegetables that you can pick as you please!

The owners are very nature-focused and do their best to save water and electricity: the pool shutter is equipped with thermal technology to heat the water, and recycled water is used to water the garden.

A carport can park 2 cars and it is possible to park 4 cars in total in the drive. A shed can be made available to store bicycles.

The property is secure with an electric gate and the swimming pool with an electric shutter.

The villa is located in the charming village of Veyrier-du-Lac, just between Plage de la Brune and the port. It takes 2 minutes on foot to reach the beach, where you will find a restaurant/snack bar, pontoons and diving boards, and where concerts take place regularly all summer. The tennis club is a few meters further down the road and the water sports center next to the beach, where you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, pedal boats, and boats. You will also find numerous restaurants a few steps away, on the water's edge or in the center of the village (Yoann Conte, Le Pêcheur, Le Chalet de la Brune, Le Bleu1801). There are also two bakeries, a grocery store, a pizzeria, a tobacconist, a florist, etc.

The next village is Menthon-Saint-Bernard: there you will find 2 very good butchers, a delicatessen, pharmacy, doctors, and restaurants (Café de la Place, Osmose, Le Confidentiel, Café du Port, L'Imprévu). You can reach Menthon by bike via the cycle path and take a beautiful walk along the water's edge to see the Palace and stroll through the Roc de Chère, an astonishing nature reserve with views of the lake.

The cycle path, which you can join by following the cycle markings on our route, goes around the lake, now completely secure. This is an ideal track for the whole family and you can easily reach Annecy on one side, the beautiful beaches of Talloires and Angon, and the south of the lake—and stop anywhere along the seafront to enjoy a swim. Pay attention to the Talloires rating! We recommend going around clockwise!

There is a bus stop not far from the house.

In summer, the guests have access to the entire property except for 1 room that is locked for storage.
