The Lake Apartment occupies the ground floor of a stunning architect-designed chalet, renovated in 2017. The generous deck has panoramic views of Lake Annecy, and beautiful seating, dining and BBQ areas. Sleeps 4 people. One double bedroom and one bedroom with two singles. What makes The Lake Apartment really special are the views of Lake Annecy, both from the living area and the master bedroom. The deck is the perfect place in Summer to enjoy the view, bbq and relax!
The Lake Apartment (ground floor flat) is yours. The first, second and attic floor of the house (The Lake Villa) are rented separately.
We kindly ask all our guests to respect 'Quiet time', both inside the house and on the terrace, between 10pm and 8am.
The Lake Apartment has its own entrance and private deck, separate from the main house. The ample parking and the bottom of the garden (with trampoline, rope swings and swingset) are shared with the main house.
Talloires is a typical little French village with a lot of character! It's a paradise for nature, sports and food lovers.
Winter sports lovers can enjoy the family resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand (45 mins) or smaller local resorts Montmin (15 mins) and La Sambuy (30 mins). Chamonix, Meribel, Courchevel and Val d'Isere are 1h15-1h30 away.
Set on the lake but with woods and mountains just behind, it offers a huge range of exciting activities including water-sports, paragliding, canyoning, hiking, mountain-biking, road-biking. A 42 km cycle path goes around the entire lake.
Talloires beach is a great spot to relax and enjoy the lake. Kids love the paddling pool, slide, children's pool, diving board, swimming platform, table tennis tables and sandpit/volleyball pitch.
A range of restaurants will keep you entertained in the evening from the Savoyarde on the beach with its amazing views and delicious pizzas, to ultimate gourmet and romantic dining experiences at Michelin-starred chef Jean Sulpice’s Auberge de Pere Bise and the more traditional Hotel de l’Abbaye.
The house has its own private parking. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the road. Buses, ferries and water-taxis link Annecy to Talloires. A 42 km cycle bath goes through Talloires and around the lake.
Talloires is 14km from Annecy, which has a direct rail link to Paris. It is 45 minutes from Geneva airport and 1h45 to Lyon.

The apartment features an open plan kitchen/dining/living area leading onto the terrasse and overlooking the lake. There is no TV.
It sleeps 4 people in one double bedroom and one bedroom with two singles.

**Please note that whilst renting the apartment, the ground floor flat is yours. The annexe on the ground floor, first, second and attic floor of the house (The Lakehouse) are rented separately. There is parking for up to 2 cars and the large garden with a trampoline and climbing rope is shared with the house above.

- No smoking except outside the property - No parties or event unless approved beforehand with the Owner- Noise restriction applies and drugs and overuse of alcohol is strictly prohibited. - Check-in from 4pm & Check-out by 10am, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the property manager. - Pets are prohibited unless approved beforehand - Groups of young adults must be accompanied by a responsible adult that will take responsibility for the group. - Guests will receive a house manual with a full list of property details, rules and local recommendations a couple of weeks before arrival. - A comprehensive holdiday home rental insurance is required to rent the property

All of our properties will follow very strict government cleaning guidelines. Our linen is cleaned by professional linen companies who also apply government rules and use environmentally friendly products wherever possible. The environment is precious to us and you will appreciate, by staying with us, the chance we have to benefit from such pure waters and magnificent landscapes. We will therefore draw your attention to avoid waste (electricity and water) and recycle your waste as much as possible. All information will be available in the welcome folder available at the property.
